Payment Gateway Kenya pricing: custom plans, quoted for your business

Payment Gateway Kenya does not publish a fixed price list. Every plan is quoted after our team understands how your business takes M-Pesa payments and, where confirmed for your account, how it sends payouts.

Pricing for the gateway is 'Custom / Talk to sales' across all three plan forms. This page explains how the connection is structured, what is always included and what to prepare so our team can give you a quote in KES. When you are ready, start your quote request.

Three plan forms:
Starter, Growth and Enterprise, all priced as 'Custom / Talk to sales'.
Two connection routes into the same gateway:
API (H2H) and Hosted Payment Page.
Postbacks that send transaction status to your systems.
Merchant settlements are sent on the same day (T+0).

Three plan forms, each quoted to fit

The plans describe the shape of the conversation rather than a fixed package. Each one is priced as 'Custom / Talk to sales', and the final quote depends on what you tell our team about your business.

Starter: Custom / Talk to sales

For businesses setting up M-Pesa pay-ins on a website or checkout for the first time. Our team will discuss your route and your expected activity, then quote in KES.

Enterprise: Custom / Talk to sales

For larger organisations with their own engineering teams, more complex flows or internal review requirements. The quote is built after a detailed conversation with our team.

What every connection includes

Whichever plan form you choose, the connection is built from the same core parts. Prices are not shown here because they are quoted individually.

Included in every Payment Gateway Kenya connection
ComponentWhat it means for your business
API (H2H)A direct server-to-server route for teams that build their own checkout. It is one way into the gateway and is not white-label.
Hosted Payment PageA payment page hosted by the gateway that your customers are sent to. It is a second route into the same gateway, not a separate product.
PostbacksTransaction status is sent to your systems so you can update orders. Postbacks are not a customer notification service.
Merchant settlementMerchant settlements are sent on the same day (T+0).

In Kenya, the gateway supports M-Pesa. Read more about how M-Pesa pay-ins work on our M-Pesa gateway page.

No extra connection fee per payment method

Existing merchants can add supported payment methods at no extra connection fee. The number of enabled methods does not change the connection price.

Pricing questions

Answers to common questions about how Payment Gateway Kenya pricing works. For anything specific to your business, ask our team.

Why does Payment Gateway Kenya not publish prices?

Pricing is 'Custom / Talk to sales' because each connection depends on your business, your route and the flows enabled for your account. Our team prepares a quote in KES once they understand your needs.

What is the difference between Starter, Growth and Enterprise?

They are plan forms that frame the conversation with our team, from first-time M-Pesa setups to larger organisations with complex requirements. All three are priced as 'Custom / Talk to sales'.

Does adding payment methods increase my connection price?

No. Existing merchants can add supported payment methods at no extra connection fee, and the number of enabled methods does not change the connection price. This is not free onboarding and not zero fees.

Which payment methods are supported in Kenya?

In Kenya, the gateway supports M-Pesa pay-ins, plus payouts where confirmed for your account. Ask our team before planning around any other method.

Is the API (H2H) route priced differently from the Hosted Payment Page?

Both are routes into the same gateway, not separate products. Tell our team which route you prefer and they will reflect it in your quote.

When are merchant settlements sent?

Merchant settlements are sent on the same day (T+0). This describes when settlement is sent, not when funds are credited to your account.

Do postbacks notify my customers?

No. Postbacks send transaction status to your systems so you can update orders. They are not a customer notification service.
